The Agilent BioTek Take3 plates and Take3 app work seamlessly with your BioTek plate reader to provide a quick and easy solution for microvolume, nucleic acid and protein quantitation.
Single sample microvolume spectrophotometers can be frustrating to use, especially if you have multiple samples to quantify.
The Take3 plate can be used for up to 16 samples, while the Take3 Trio can accommodate up to 48 samples. Measure multiple two microliter samples simultaneously without diluting or specialized equipment.
For increased flexibility of sample measurement the Take3 plate can also hold one cuvette and two BioCells. The Take3 Trio can hold two BioCells.
The Take3 plates are easy to clean. Simply wipe samples off after measurement with a laboratory wipe.
Load the Take3 or Take3 Trio plate in any BioTek Epoch, Synergy or Cytation plate reader. The Take3 app manages data acquisition and analysis with a simple, intuitive interface. First select the protocol you want to run, then set up your plate by selecting blanks and samples. There is also the option to enter sample IDs. Once your plate is set up, click the Read Blanks button followed by the Read Samples button. If a spectral analysis of the samples was selected, these results will be viewable under the graphs tab. An image of the graphs can be easily exported it from the application. And finally, under the summary tab, all the data from the read, including raw and background subtracted absorbance data, the A260/280 ratios and calculated concentrations are available. Data can be exported as a tab delimited file.
