Hybrid Advertising Campaign Wins Jersey Awards Honor

June 6, 2008

BioTek’s creative agency of record, Shaw & Todd, was recently honored with second place in the Collateral-New Product Launch category at the 40th annual Jersey Awards. Sponsored by the NJ Ad Club, the awards are judged by a panel of industry peers to honor the hardest working branding and marketing communications efforts for agencies based in New Jersey or whose clients are based in the state. An awards presentation and dinner were held at the scenic Chart House in Weehawken, NJ, overlooking midtown Manhattan.

BioTek’s Hybrid Technology Campaign introduced an entirely new class of multi-mode microplate readers to drug discovery and life science markets. Tactics within the Hybrid Technology campaign, including print and electronic advertising, a short animated movie, technical illustrations, tradeshow materials and events, promotions and technical articles, all served to closely align this new Hybrid class with BioTek’s Synergy 4 – the only product in the category.

The patent-pending Synergy 4 Multi-Mode Microplate Reader combines filter-based and quadruple monochromator-based fluorescence detection technology to perform an unlimited number of microplate-based assays. This combination provides for endless flexibility in current and future microplate-based assay choice. Synergy 4 also includes Fluorescence Intensity, Luminescence, Fluorescence Polarization, Time-Resolved Fluorescence, AlphaScreen® and UV-Visible Absorbance.
