BioTek Instruments Named in Best Places to Work in Vermont List

February 1, 2012

Vermont Business Magazine and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce recently named BioTek Instruments in their 2012 "Best Places to Work in Vermont" list. As one of 22 companies honored, BioTek was honored for benefiting Vermont's economy, workforce and businesses.

Honorees were selected based on a two-part process. Each nominated company was evaluated for their workplace policies, practices and demographics. Then, anonymous employee satisfaction surveys measured the employee experience. The combined information narrowed the list to 22 Vermont companies, and also determined their final ranking in the Small/Medium Size Companies and Large Companies categories.

Kathy Gendron, BioTek Vice President of Human Resources noted, "BioTek truly is a great family; our people are empowered, we work hard as a team, and a bit of fun every now and then keeps our spirits high!"

The complete ranking will be unveiled at an awards ceremony on April 5, 2012 in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management, Vermont State Council, the Vermont Department of Labor and the Vermont Department of Economic Development and Best Companies Group.

BioTek Instruments, Inc., headquartered in Winooski, VT, USA, is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacture, and sale of microplate instrumentation and software.
