BioTek Instruments, Inc., today announced the winner of the “Win an Epoch” contest, which ran April 15 - September 17, 2010 in the United Kingdom. The prize, BioTek’s Epoch™ Multi-Volume Spectrophotometer System, is awarded in cooperation with Fisher Scientific. On Friday, October 15th, ten members of the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce, hosted by the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, visited BioTek Instruments. During this visit, all guests toured the facility and met with BioTek’s President and CEO Briar Alpert. The delegation also visited other Vermont-based companies to provide the Chinese visitors with a better understanding of trading opportunities between Vermont and China, and an introduction to Vermont’s high growth economic sectors with the goal of increased trade between Vermont and China.
