Tradeshow Coordinator & Marketing Assistant
BioTek, now a part of Agilent is a market leader in detection and imaging instrumentation for life science and drug discovery research. We are recognized globally for our innovative product line and excellent customer service. Our global customers include academic, government, and biotech/pharmaceutical companies. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized individual to join our Marketing Communications team.
Primary responsibilities include maintaining both corporate and international office/distributor annual tradeshow schedules, and coordinating all aspects of US managed corporate tradeshows which includes budget estimates, pre-show planning and post show follow-up meetings, coordinating tradeshow logistics; scientific poster presentations and workshops; display material production and booth development and post show reporting. He/she will assist US Sales Representatives and International Sales offices with their tradeshow efforts as needed.
Qualifications include a BS in Business or Marketing and three years of previous tradeshow coordination is preferred, professional oral and written communication skills, ability to work well with others, multi-task and be highly responsive to numerous requests. Experience with MS Office Programs including PowerPoint and willingness to work weekend and evening hours when required.
