Currently we are searching for an exceptional candidate to be our Sales Representative in the NYC area preferably residing in either Long Island, Queens or Brooklyn.
The ideal individual we are looking for will have a unique combination of scientific education and experience with microplate instrumentation. He or she will be outgoing, self-motivated and driven by achievement. This individual will work well independently but will appreciate being part of a dynamic, growing sales team. This position will be responsible for accounts in both the academic and biopharma markets.
Superior candidates will possess a BA/BS in the Life Sciences (Masters or PhD strongly preferred), experience and in-depth knowledge of plate readers and microscopy instruments as well as experience with image analysis. Strong preference is for a candidate with 2+ years direct sales experience selling similar instrumentation in addition to 2+ years lab experience using plate readers and microscopes. Exceptional communication and presentation skills along with strong PC skills are required.
Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying customers, arranging and performing product demonstrations and attending various exhibitions and tradeshows promoting the company’s products.
