Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical

In this position, you will provide electrical engineering support to manufacturing for on-going production, new product introduction, purchasing, and quality assurance to ensure the best product at the lowest cost. Responsibilities include assisting Purchasing with vendor issues, obsolescence investigations of electrical components, providing electrical troubleshooting support to manufacturing assembly, troubleshooting defective PCB’s, designing new and supporting existing PCB test stations including hardware and software, PCB design/layout, embedded and windows software development for test and automation equipment.
Our ideal candidate will have a BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with five years experience in manufacturing support or design, windows interface and embedded software programing experience (C++,C#) and PCB CAD/Modeling (Orcad). Familiarity using emulators to diagnose complex electrical/software issues and troubleshooting skills in electro-mechanics, electronics, circuits and electrical components desired. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing preferred and demonstrated technical writing, organizational and strong verbal communication skills with success in a team environment are essential.
