Instrument service and repair is available through BioTek’s Service Center in Winooski, Vermont, USA, or through your Local Service Center.

BioTek Service Center

BioTek's standard warranty includes return to depot repair, where our technical experts deliver quality service and focus exclusively on BioTek equipment. We offer a variety of depot support services to meet your needs, including:

Planned Maintenance:
Planned Maintenance (PM) ensures each product released through BioTek's Service Center meets factory performance specifications. Any necessary product updates will be performed, including updating the assay and base codes. A certificate provides evidence of traceability to appropriate standards and complies with the ANSI/NCSL requirements for calibration laboratories, Z540-1, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.

Repair Service:
BioTek's Service Center provides repair services for BioTek products. Each repaired instrument is thoroughly tested to ensure that it meets factory performance specifications.

Test Plate Certification:
Test Plates are analyzed dimensionally and optically to ensure they meet BioTek specifications.

Prior to sending your instrument to us for repair, access the Customer Resource Center to submit a Service Request for a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Your serial number is needed in order to enter an RMA. It is generally located on a black and silver tag on the side or back of your instrument.

Service Agreements

Accurately budget your service costs by utilizing one of BioTek's Service Programs. After expiration of the initial instrument warranty, a Service Agreement provides the following benefits:

Ensures your instrument is running at optimal performance
Guarantees routine planned maintenance (PM) service
Includes complementary design improvement and software updates
Parts and labor are provided at no additional cost by factory trained specialists
