Gen5 Data Analysis Software integrates with all BioTek imaging and detection systems

Gen5 offers a unique combination of power and ease-of-use that drives productivity and saves time, no matter what application or workflow is incorporated. Data analysis in Gen5 spans a very wide range of applications, from high magnification image analysis to basic ELISA with an interface designed specifically for all users. Data output is completely configurable, from a quick export to Excel® button for the ultimate fast data transfer, to a completely customizable format for publication quality reporting.

Powerful Functionality

Gen5 includes powerful tools such as 4-P and 5-P curve fits with or without weighting, parallel-line analysis, advanced kinetic analysis, automated pathlength correction, multi-level data transformation, QC features like cut-off and validation criteria definition and calculation... and so much more. When preferred, export data using the fast, 1-click Excel export available on most data views.

Gen5 Image+

Image Acquisition and Analysis

Gen5 Image+ provides powerful, intuitive tools for image capture and analysis with Cytation Cell Imaging readers. Manual and automated (experiment-based) image capture interfaces in Gen5 Image+ allow users to quickly find, image, analyze and export data and image parameters in a variety of formats for further study. Used with Cytation for cell imaging, Gen5 Image+ offers image analysis features typically only seen in dedicated imaging systems.

21 CFR Part 11 Compliance

To meet the demands of the GxP laboratory, Gen5 Secure offers features to help laboratories comply with the requirements of  the U.S. FDA's 21 CFR Part 11 Directive.  Flexible multi-user permission levels, protocol and system audit trails and electronic signature are among the important capabilities available for use in a regulated environment.

Built-in and Web-based Sample Files

We’ve done the groundwork for hundreds of protocols in multiple detection modes and imaging – so you don’t have to. Choose from the sample files built in to Gen5, or from www.biotek.com, where you’ll find the latest protocols to support the hottest applications for BioTek’s multi-mode and imaging readers.

QC Tools

When the laboratory must work within the guidelines for In-Vitro Diagnostics, Gen5 IVD and  Image+  IVD have QC trending capability, security features and Validation protocols for convenience and efficiency.

Gen5 is available in English, Chinese, Japanese and Russian editions.
