Gen5™ software offers a logical interface to all automated BioTek plate readers. It’s designed to easily flow from reading parameters, to plate layout, to powerful data reduction, and finally to flexible data output options. The results of this intuitive design, including the exclusive StepWise™ protocol and data reduction tools and the power of Gen5's data reduction, will be evident in increased laboratory efficiency.

For the demands of the GxP laboratory, Gen5 Secure offers features to ensure compliance to 21 CFR Part 11, including flexible multi-user permission levels and electronic protocol and data signing. When laboratory practices require validation of external software, the extensive Gen5 Validation Package is complete with detailed test plans to allow testing and documentation of key functions within the software.

For clinical laboratories using BioTek's ELx800 and ELx808 plate readers, Gen5CL combines the convenience and security of preprogrammed clinical diagnostic assays with the power and flexibility of a PC-based application.
