MicroFlo Select Dispenser

MicroFlo™ Select is the latest development in dispensing technology offering superior microplate dispensing flexibility in one compact instrument. In fact, it’s the first instrument of its kind to offer a wide range of choices in dynamic dispense volumes, microplate types, sample tube sizes and automated dispense height adjustment, along with a full range of cassettes to accommodate dispensing requirements now and into the future. An assortment of available cassettes each incorporate the appropriate tubing, tip properties and accurate dispensing technology to deliver full and reproducible incremental volumes of liquid within its specified volume range, even after numerous autoclave cycles.

For assays involving precious reagents, MicroFlo Select has a nominal dead volume of less than 1 mL. The built-in priming trough is designed to allow both recovery of reagents or, in automated environments, to send primed reagent directly to waste. For those with higher throughput requirements, the MicroFlo Select is easily integrated with the BioStack™ Microplate Stacker or BioStack Twister® II Microplate Handler for unattended operation. Alternatively, robotic integration of MicroFlo Select to third party automated systems is seamless with available .NET based interface software. Up to 8 reagents can be dispensed at one time with each dispense line incorporating an individually replaceable tip for easy maintenance. For stand alone users interested in full computer control of the dispenser, BioTek’s optional Liquid Handling Control™ Software allows dispense protocols to be created and run from the PC or downloaded to the onboard user interface.
