Microplate Reader Options
BioTek provides a complete line of filter-based absorbance readers to perform routine clinical and research ELISA measurements. Using a complete line of wavelength specific absorbance filters virtually all of the commonly used substrates for HRP, including ortho-phenylene diamine (OPD), Tetra-methylbenzidine (TMB), and 2,2'-azino di-ethylbenzothiazidinesulfonic acid (ABTS), can be measured. Assays that use antibody conjugates with alkaline phosphatase and ß-galactosidase in conjunction with their substrates p-nitrophenyl phosphate (pnpp) and o-nitrophenyl phosphate (ONPG) respectively can also be performed using these filter-based readers.
Microplate Reader Functionality
As a group, these microplate readers offer a complete line of functionality. From the EL301 strip microplate reader, which offers portability and simplicity; to the ELx800 microplate reader, the universal microplate reader; to the ELx808 kinetics microplate reader, the appropriate filter-based instrument can be matched to specific requirements. There is also a microplate reader that supports all plate types from 6-well to 384-well, including specialized applications such as 60, 72, and 90 well Terasaki plates. In addition, temperature control and robotics compatibility are available in this line of microplate reader.
