Microplate Liquid Dispensing Systems
BioTek offers two microplate liquid dispensing systems for 96- and 384-well microplates. The Precision 2000 Automated microplate liquid dispensing pipetting system comes as either an 8- or a 12- channel model. The eight-channel model has a completely configurable six-station platform to hold the required pipette tips, reagent troughs, and microplates (96- and 384-well) for fluid transfer, while the twelve-channel version holds our plates.
Microplate Liquid Dispensing: The Precision 2000
The Precision 2000 is capable of performing all of the tasks routinely done with a manual multi-channel pipette. The tasks include plate-to-plate transfers, serial dilutions, reagent addition, and mixing within a well. The Precision 2000 microplate liquid dispensing system can be configured with a vacuum apparatus and loaded with aerosol barrier tips to perform DNA purification, PCR sample preparation, as well as PCR cleanup. The Precision 2000 is a very versatile microplate liquid dispensing system.
Microplate Liquid Dispensing: µFill 96- 384
BioTek also offers the µFill 96- 384-Well Reagent Dispenser. This microplate liquid dispensing unit provides 96- and 384-well capabilities without changing manifolds. With its unique design this microplate liquid dispensing unit can accommodate both regular and deep-well plates. There are two versions of this microplate liquid dispensing unit available; the basic microplate liquid dispensing model uses an internal syringe pump, which can accommodate volumes from 10-3000 µl in a 96- well plate and 5-1500 µl in the 384-well format. The other microplate liquid dispensing model comes with an external syringe that has an autoclavable fluid path making it suitable for dispensing sterile aqueous solutions. This microplate liquid dispensing model can also be upgraded to be compatible with several organic solvents such as acetonitrile and DMSO.
